Summary of thesis

My doctoral thesis aims to contribute to the understanding of subduction and exhumation processes affecting oceanic crust in ocean-continent subduction zones, especially in the context of exhumation without posterior continent-continent collision. To achieve this, a petrochronological approach is being applied to unravel the geodynamic evolution of the high-pressure Raspas Complex (SW Ecuador).
