Summary of thesis

The focus of this thesis is to gain better understanding of the evolution of the continental crust during the Archean using radiogenic isotope geochemistry. My role in the project will be to investigate the behaviour of radiogenic isotopes in apatite in igneous and high-temperature metamorphic rocks in terms of their ability to preserve petrogenetic information relating to the evolution of the continental crust.
