The main issue is to explore the assumption of dry volume diffusion. Through outlining the petrology, oxygen isotope, and trace elements of muscovite crystals - can we identify the dominant control on argon diffusion? Is dry volume diffusion subordinate to fluid mediated diffusion. Lastly, can we identify zones within a crystal that might be unaffected by fluid mediated recrystallisation.
