|Summary of thesis||
I am working in the Northern Andes where my main focus is studying the timing and thermal history of the Mesozoic metamorphic rocks. I am utilizing numerous techniques such as: U-Pb thermochronology (apatite, rutile, titanite), geochronology(zircon) to study the high temperature evolution of the margin. Furthermore, we are using isotopic tracing of minerals (EHf zircon) and whole rocks (Sr-Nd-Pb isotopes) of magmatic processes over long (60- 100 My) periods of time.
